HARMONY VET NAPLES FL FULL
We are full time RVers and have visited their offices multiple times on our journey as we trek all through Florida. Sometimes we can help (for example getting them to lay on their side) and dogs tend to feel more comfortable around their owners- and if we need to show you certain spots it might be beneficial to you! They are the only vet we’ve been to that does this and in our opinion we think it would be easier, in most circumstances, to leave them in the same room as the owner. The one thing we don’t totally love (which this may somehow be Covid related) is that they take your animal out of your room to a separate spot. We (and our wallets) sincerely appreciate it! Even though they are located in Naples, I don’t think that they price gauge for location- which is super thoughtful and so appreciated! It’s so nice (and convenient) that they actually recommend Chewy and affordable options as opposed to most other vets that just want you to buy from their office. The owner/main vet there truly cares about you and your furbabies. As a nonprofit, fundraising is so extremely important and is always appreciated, so if you can’t find the time to volunteer maybe think about donating even just a couple dollars to help us keep the animals happy and the enclosures secure.Great little animal hospital! They are honest and affordable. All the volunteers that I have worked with are so kind and care so much about the animals and people, always going above and beyond to make sure everything gets done around the property. They take the safety and care of the animals first and foremost which is truly awesome to see always making sure each volunteer is well prepared before assisting in any way and that every enclosure is completely secure at all times. I have been volunteering my time there for a little over a year and I couldn’t be more proud to share this nonprofit with the greater Orlando area and world. The way she and all of the volunteers work, puts out a great atmosphere for the animals living there, filled with plenty of enrichment and activity and safety. Kim Kapes, the founder and director, is incredibly knowledgeable about the behavior of animals, specifically wolves, wolf hybrids, and dogs. This organization is truly amazing and inspirational. I am proud to be a part of IHWN and proud to call Kim my friend

Kim's vision as is all the volunteers is one of a safe haven for all and that is why we are looking for funding to keep this unique facility open so that we can not only provide homes for theses wonderful animals, you only have to look into their eyes to see truly great souls, but to also provide a place where we can teach others to love animals and nature like we do. A true haven for all those we can adopt we do but others who are not adopted have a forever home We not only have wolf dogs but domestic dogs, cats, tortoises, pigs and even a chicken. Once you come to see our facility and get to meet Kim and all of the other great volunteers you understand not only the commitment but the love we all have for the animals Three weeks later I adopted another beauty, Jewel. I fell in love at first sight and so Jaxx became my boy.

My first day I saw this beautiful his key that Kim has rescued after someone abandoned him on the street. IHWN is not your "normal" reasue but a safe and natural haven for all animals who come to us. I decided that this was the place I wanted to volunteer at and spent my first day not only training but falling in love with the animals and the natural surroundings of the facility.

I first met Kim Kapes and IHWN when I was looking to adopt a wolf dog since mine had passed away.
